2024 Trois Noix Chardonnay "Muir-Hanna Vineyard", Oak Knoll District

Trois Noix — French for “Three Nuts” — is the Napa Valley project of Jaime Araujo, whose family has crafted some of the valley’s most celebrated wines for more than 25 years. After years living abroad in Europe, Jaime returned home in 2013 to build a label entirely her own: one that treats wine as a bridge between people, place, and community, not just a product in a bottle. Today, Trois Noix sits at the intersection of “Established Napa” and “Next Napa” — precise, vineyard-driven winemaking with a fresh, unpretentious spirit, made under B Corp certification with sustainability and social good built into how the wine is grown, made, and sold.

The Muir-Hanna Vineyard, also in the cool Oak Knoll District, gives Jaime’s Chardonnay a leaner, more mineral-driven profile than the riper, sunnier Chardonnays grown farther up-valley. Aged 10 months entirely in neutral French oak — no new wood — this is a wine built to let the vineyard speak: bright orchard fruit, a chalky, saline edge, and a texture that stays fresh rather than buttery.

Why You'll Love It

  • Cool-climate, Oak Knoll District Chardonnay with a leaner, more mineral-driven style
  • Aged entirely in neutral oak, so the fruit and site — not the barrel — lead
  • Bright acidity that keeps it food-friendly rather than heavy or overtly oaky

How to Serve It

  • Serve at 48-52°F
  • Pour into Burgundy-style stems
  • Drink now through 2029
  • Pairs well with pan-seared halibut in a beurre blanc, or roast chicken with lemon and herbs
