This exclusive allocation hails from a microscopic, 0.62-acre sliver of Les Perrières Dessous, situated directly above Les Charmes. In the elite circles of Burgundy, these two legendary Premier Crus are fiercely defended as rightful Grand Crus in everything but name. While Meursault is famed for its opulent textures, Perrières yields a structural powerhouse of chiseled, flinty intensity where Chardonnay reaches its absolute peak of saline precision and breathtaking longevity.

The staggering quality of this bottle rests in the hands of Vincent and François Bitouzet, whose roots in the Côte de Beaune stretch back to 1802. Standing as one of the very first generational domaines in the region to estate-bottle their production, François works hand-in-hand with his parents to manage the village’s most impressive collection of pristine vineyard real estate. As committed classicists, the family treats their 40-year-old vines with strict organic viticulture and patient cellar work, honoring the transparent character of the terroir over short-term trends.

This effort perfectly balances a remarkably ripe vintage with the estate’s trademark electric energy. A subtle, captivating reduction on the nose unfurls into complex notes of yellow plum, quince, and crushed stone. On the palate, it delivers a sapid, tunneling drive of lemon rind, zesty acidity, and tangible minerality framed by seamlessly integrated French oak.
