2017 Nadal, Corpinnat Brut Nature "Edició Especial"

Our most popular vintage sparkling wine returns with the stellar 2017 Nadal "Edició Especial." This isn't your average supermarket bubbly; as a member of Corpinnat—an elite collective of just 11 grower-focused houses—Nadal adheres to Europe’s strictest organic and aging standards, surpassing the requirements of many top-tier Champagne houses.

Why This Bottle Defies its Price Point:

  • 6+ Years on the Lees: While many vintage Champagnes age for only three years, Nadal matures this release for over six years. This extended cellar time creates a sophisticated, "custardy" texture and leesy depth rarely found at this level.

  • Pristine Freshness: Recently disgorged to ensure maximum energy and precision in every glass.

  • Historic Pedigree: Hailing from a family estate tending limestone-rich soils since 1510, this is a serious, terroir-driven wine designed to impress.

Whether you're looking for a sophisticated daily drinker or a bottle to impress guests, this release offers the undeniable pedigree of a $75 label for a fraction of the cost. Quite simply, it is the most over-delivering sparkling wine in our portfolio.

Tasting Note:

This recently disgorged 2017 is a pristine example of the elegance found in the heart of Penedès. The blend is anchored by a significant 52% Parellada, a delicate grape that thrives in Nadal’s high-elevation, limestone-rich soils, providing signature floral lift and high-toned acidity. On the palate, six years of lees aging manifests as notes of lemon curd, Mirabelle plum, and toasted brioche, balanced by a flinty, bone-dry finish. It proves that indigenous Spanish varieties, when farmed organically and aged with patience, can rival the greatest sparkling wines of the world.

  • Blend: 52% Parellada, 28% Macabeo, 20% Xarel·lo

  • Food Pairing: Fried Artichokes with Jamón Ibérico & Lemon Zest. The wine’s vibrant acidity and fine bubbles cut through the richness of the fried artichokes, while the savory, salty notes of the Jamón complement the wine's deep, leesy complexity.
