Long before white wine dominated Chassagne, red Pinot Noir was the village’s primary glory—and this bottling proves why that history matters. Combining two distinct lieux-dits ("Les Chaumes" and "Les Chambres"), Thibault Morey honors his family’s historical roots in red winemaking. By blending old-vine plots with thoughtful whole-cluster handling and biodynamic care, he crafts a red Chassagne of incredible soul.  

The 60-year-old vines sit in deep, reddish clay-limestone soils near the bottom of the slope. That deep dirt gives the wine its signature muscularity and velvety structure. Smoldering aromas of wild dark berries, spice, roasted meats, and forest floor lead into a palate that is surprisingly silky and accessible. Packed with dark cherry fruit, savory depth, and polished tannins, it is a masterclass in approachable, terroir-driven red Burgundy.
