While much of Châteauneuf is defined by rounded river stones (galets roulés), this bottling is born exclusively from a single parcel of 60- to 70-year-old vines in the northern Gardioles lieu-dit, where deep, clay-rich soils impart extraordinary structure, muscle, and grip. Composed of 98% Grenache, the fruit undergoes an unhurried 35-day wild-yeast fermentation in concrete before aging in large oak foudres and demi-muids, preserving pristine fruit purity without heavy oak interference.
