Rheinhessen is the largest wine region in Germany, but for
decades the area was synonymous with bulk-production Liebraumilch. His family’s
holdings mostly went into sparkling production, but Daniel Wagner has been an influential player in the Rheinhessen's quality revolution. Today, the region’s wines are on par with that of the Mosel.
This Gutswein bottling (the estate's entry-level wine) punches way above its weight. Vinified in two-thirds
stainless-steel and one-third oak. Marked by a deep, ripe, and concentrated
bouquet. Juicy red-skinned apples intertwine with lime and lemongrass. The
sleek mineral finish compliments the whole package!
