Haro Barrio de la Estación Wines

Haro Barrio de la Estación Wines

Haro's Barrio de la Estación is one of the world's great historic wine districts and the birthplace of modern Rioja. When the railway reached Haro in 1863, French merchants followed, bringing Bordeaux influence and transforming the region's wine trade. Soon came López de Heredia, CVNE, Gómez Cruzado, La Rioja Alta and Bodegas Bilbaínas. Today, alongside Muga and Roda, they form an extraordinary concentration of historic wineries and some of Spain's greatest wines.
