Sourced from 20 to 50-year-old Chardonnay vines in Meursault (“Les Grandes Coutures”) and Puligny-Montrachet (“Les Femelottes”), this is a wine that punches far above its weight. Aged for 12 months in used barrels with little to no bâtonnage (lees stirring), it offers remarkable texture and complexity.
2023 Dominique Lafon, Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc:A wine of tension and verve, with notes of white flowers, crushed stone, and a saline edge. Lafon’s touch transforms this cool, hillside terroir into a wine of crystalline precision and electric energy, perfect for lovers of racy, mineral-driven Chardonnay.
