Keermont winery and vineyards are located in the shadow of the famed Gaurdian Peak that lies between the Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountain ranges. The “Estate Reserve is the winery’s flagship red blend that has been inspired by a Right Bank Bordeaux with a small addition of Syrah to bolster the color and sauvage-like element. The wine is aged for two years in French barrique (20% new) and then it aged for another 36-months in the bottle before release. We fell in love with how this blend is firing on all cylinders.
