Centuries of prestige. A legendary revival. And wines that are turning heads in all the right places.
Château de Nalys may be Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s best-kept secret—but not for long. Dating back to the 16th century, this historic estate entered a thrilling new era in 2017 when the renowned Guigal family took the reins. Known for transforming vineyards into icons, the Guigals saw something extraordinary in Nalys—and they’ve brought it back to life with passion and precision.
Wine critic Jeb Dunnuck didn’t hold back: “To say the estate has seen a turnaround would be an understatement… these latest releases are unquestionably up with the finest wines of the vintage.”
The latest release, Grand Vin Blanc 2022 is “Rhône Royalty” in a glass, rated 99 points by Jeb Dunnuck. This is the white of the vintage—lavish, exotic, and unforgettable. A tribute to Nalys’ unmatched white varietal holdings and Guigal’s mastery of Viognier, Roussanne, and Marsanne. It was Nalys' high percentage of white varietals planted that sold the Guigal family on acquiring the property.
Press: 99 Points, Jeb Dunnuck:
“ … the 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Grand Vin Blanc is one of – if not the – white of the vintage. White peach, citrus oil, green almonds, brioche, and toasty notes define the aromatics, and it’s full-bodied, with a layered, concentrated yet focused mouthfeel, good acidity (pH 3.4), and a great finish. It's a stunning white from the south that I wish every reader could taste. It will evolve for 15 years or more.”
