2022 Drew, Pinot Noir, "Clow Ridge Vineyard", Anderson Valley

Here's an extremely small production single-site gem from the far northeastern edge of Anderson Valley.

This wine rivals top single-vineyard efforts from Cobb, Littorai, Radio-Coteau, and Williams Selyem — but at a fraction of the price. It’s loaded with mineral energy and precision, built to age gracefully for years to come.

Antonio Galloni (Vinous) calls it “dark and mysterious” and “wonderfully complex from start to finish.” Both Decanter Magazine and James Suckling awarded it 95 points, praising its elegance and refined structure.

Since launching his label in 2000, Jason Drew has earned nine placements on Wine & Spirits Magazine’s Top 100 Wineries list. The hits keep coming — and this “Clow Ridge” is a prime example.

We taste a lot of Anderson Valley Pinot, and too many are ultra ripe up front and one-dimensional. This one is different. It’s grown at the fogline, showcasing Clone 493known for small berries, intense aromatics, and mineral drive.

Whether you're a California/Oregon Pinot devotee or a Burgundy fanatic, this wine delivers. Honestly? We’d rather drink this beauty than a $100+ Chambolle-Musigny.
