Pretty in Provence

But what the Côte d’Azure offers in glitzy packaging today has been in the works for thousands of years. The natural, rugged beauty of this region– both coastal and Alpine–has long been coveted for its wealth of medicinal herbs, olive oil, sheep (first domesticated here!), and of course wine. Yes, Provençal rosé reigns supreme now, and we have two incredible examples, but the hearty reds and salty whites are what have endured over millennia.
