The nose is balanced with intense purple fruit and intense oaky aromas. You will find slightly dried black fruits including cassis, dried black cherry, and blackcurrant infused with cacao, dried violets, dried leather, red tobacco, slight green herbs, turned earth, baking spices, and vanilla bean. The wine is full-bodied and the flavors mirror the nose with various red and black fruits interlaced with secondary flavors of wet purple flowers, chocolate, leather, pencil lead, potting soil, and oak flavors. The alcohol can be felt in the chest on the finish.
