Richard’s family has long cultivated Chardonnay in the chalky soils of Avize, while Véronique’s roots lie in Verzenay, a bastion of Pinot Noir in the Montagne de Reims. Together, they farm just over 3 hectares of grand cru vineyards with a commitment to sustainable viticulture.

Hand-harvesting at perfect ripeness, often daringly late, upright wooden pressing, the gentle malolactic fermentation, and the extended aging lend "Promise" a finesse that is both modern and timeless.
