The wine has a medium straw-gold core that moves to green and platinum highlights on the rim. Concentration of color is medium-plus. Viscosity is high, with slow-moving “tears’’ and an oily appearance. The extremely fl oral and tropical nose is ripe with a high intensity of aromatics led by mango, papaya, yellow peach, pear and orange blossoms with secondary notes of honeysuckle, rose water, lemon verbena, and delicate accents of white pepper. The wine is dry, slightly oily, and a touch bitter and soapy with high acidity. Flavors on the palate are reminiscent of the nose with notes of yellow and green tropical fruits, melon rind, lime, pear drop, a hint of spice, rose water, and wet herbs.
