Named after the silent devotion of medieval Carthusian monks, the Karthäuser vineyard rises like a natural amphitheater above Laubenheim. Its southwest-facing slope captures generous afternoon sunlight, while the weathered sandstone soils absorb and radiate warmth, allowing Riesling grapes to ripen early, evenly, and with remarkable concentration.
