Hailed as a benchmark vintage across the Langhe, 2021 provided ideal conditions: cool nights, warm days, and an extended ripening season. The 2021 "Romirasco" is a study in tension, structural precision, and aromatic purity, and stands among the standout wines of the entire vintage.

Aged for nearly 30 months in large Slavonian oak botti, the 2021 release is chiseled and profound. It displays pure wild strawberries, sour cherry, blood orange peel, pipe tobacco, violets, and struck flint, backed by a firm, laser-focused tannic backbone that will allow it to cellar gracefully for half a century.

Why You'll Love It

From the celebrated 2021 Barolo vintage, a must-have bottle for serious cellars.

Exceptional precision, mineral focus, and structural balance.

Breathtaking nose of rose petals, red currants, leather, mint, and graphite.

How To Serve It

Serve at cool room temperature, between 60°F and 64°F.

Decant for 2 to 3 hours if opening early in its life.

Pour into Burgundy stems to maximize aromatic concentration.

Pair with roasted game birds, braised meats, or aged hard cheeses.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0551/3628/8822/files/2021PoderiAldoConterno_Barolo_Romirasco.png?v=1793297365
